Last place on Earth I want to be on NYE.

The crowd is almost exclusively out-of-towners. I was one of them on New Year's Eve, 1999. I went just to be able to say I'd experienced it. We got there about 10:30 in the morning and by noon they had everything blocked off so that you couldn't get out and back in, so no going to the bathroom. I planned for this by not drinking anything all day.

Not much different than the feeling of spendimg Mardi Gras on Bourbon St

Anywhere I need a diaper to be in all day and night is my idea of hell

But what did all the others do?

Rather stay home than be there honestly

I’m not worried because I never go around crowds like that.

Wasn't much worse than waiting for a Mardi Gras parade. We made friends with the folks around us. There were two nurses from Mississippi by us. One local NY dude was smoking weed and the cops threw him out.

I'm irritated by the small crowd outside on the corner setting off fireworks

Remember that when they cut to footage of attractive people trying to be sexy.

Rather get a bare knuckle punch from Mike Tyson in his prime than spend one second in that mother fricking hell hole.

Looks like Bourbon St on Mardi Gras night but without the titties.

You can get away from Bourbon Street if you want to.

Apparently they hold it for 10+ hours

In a country that allows any jackass to have a gun all mass gatherings are susceptible to a mass casualty event. People in other countries don’t understand how we live like this, but maybe they just don’t understand freedom.

But what about poo poo? You know a shite ton of them had to dookie? People can't even seem to complete a trip to Walmart without having to squeeze out a loaf.
