We aren't doing any of that shite. We all paid dues, including me as coach.
Relative has a kid on a team that sells squares and does raffles and shite and he just buys them all. Other parents on the team don't like it

Oh, I’m not saying it’s everyone else’s problem. When we went, we had garage sales we did raffles fundraisers, we had the kids go out there and hustle up money even though every parent on the team had enough money to cover the cost, we made the kids go out there and hustle and earn a portion of the expenses.
That $15k doesn’t cover airfare, renting a house for a week, paying for siblings, etc. shite ain’t cheap
But I’m in no way endorsing asking for money without giving something back in return.
The year/week we went we brought 2 teams basically and the other team won the whole thing that week.

She should know better! The carbon footprint per kid to send them all the way across the country on a fuel guzzling jet, plus the amount of power the little stains will siphon with their gaming systems and phones, in a hotel room, will be too much for the planet to bear.
