I can't believe you let her talk you into a fancy wedding ring in the first place. My $500 (grey) gold band looks like the day I bought it, 12+ years ago. You get diamonds or some shite?

OP show your wife this thread and maybe she will see all the responses saying not to wear you ring on the rig and she will be ok with you just not wearing it.
Or buy a cheap alternative ring...and just not wear it on the rig.
But lying isn't a good way to start your marriage so just be honest with her

I'm surprised they even let you wear on one on the rig. When I get to my rig, my ring goes in my backpack. It stays there until the morning I fly back home 3 weeks later.

Yeah i just ordered one from Saferingz for the same reason. Came to a little over 10 bucks. Can't beat it.
