My band gigs are my highlight right now. All my kids are grown and mostly doing their thing. Two youngest just graduated high school. Our live shows are so much damn fun. I’d play 3-4 times a week if I could.
Other than those gigging nights, life is boring as hell.

When I had my first child, at 25 years of age, I never got a “full free day to enjoy” myself for another ten years at least. Instead I learned to enjoy most of the things I had to do.
