It’s pretty damn easy to assume the demographic of the killer considering they commit around 80% of the homicidal crimes in BR.
It's way more than 80%. Closer to 98%

There are no suspects. You mean perpetrators.

312 days and still nothing.
Meanwhile Murphy Paul gets awarded the Attorney General Eric Holder Leadership Award by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement.
This city is such a disgrace. Does anyone actually take Baton Rouge’s leadership seriously?

I hope Kiran goes balls to the wall with coverage on the anniversary. This needs to be brought back into the light and I’d love for The Shed to do another fundraiser for reward money.

Speaking of reward money, that reminds me of something I forgot to bring to this thread. Back when this happened, I contacted Crime Stoppers three times to inquire how to donate to the reward fund. Three times my messages went ignored. Nobody ever contacted me back. There I was, willing and ready to donate my money and they essentially told me to frick off. Does anyone else have a similar experience with Crime Stoppers? The conspiracy theorist in me has always wondered if the city told them to suppress this however they could because how many times do you go ignored when wanting to just hand out free money? Very weird situation.

I’m not sure you can chalk up to conspiracy what could just be total and utter apathy / laziness.
Not that you are wrong to suspect it, though.

I don't know what the ghettos are like around your town, but BR's ghetto talks. They talk like it's going out of style. They talk to each other, they talk to informants, they talk on the internet, etc.
I'm surprised at this point the shooter hasn't written a rap song, with video, reenacting how he did it.

Just for statistics, how many other unsolved murder cases occurred over the past year?
And you can weed out the uncared about thug on thug murders. I'm talking about legit, innocent person murdered for no reason, type cases.
I only ask because I fear there are several of these.

Don't worry Murphy Paul won an award for black policing. The city is on the upswing!

They put 80% out there because they know it’s the minimum number people won’t call bullshite on.

I had the opposite experience. I was the victim of a crime and offered 5000 extra to the reward and they added it without getting any thing but word of mouth. tricks on them though, I aint giving shite if they catch them.

Crime stoppers is a scam. Well not an actual scam, but they do scammy shite. They look for reasons not to pay. Your tip has to lead to the arrest and conviction of the criminal. If your tip isn’t what specifically leads the investigator to make an arrest, then you are SOL.

White girl was assassinated gang style, they don’t give a shite about it. I would surprised if anyone worked on this case much after they put her in the ground. They likely know who did it . I am sure they did and that person doesn’t fit what they want so they buried it. Yes I am 100% saying BRPD is corrupt and targets white people

I'd be pretty surprised in that stretch of Government at 2am.
Even though it's a heavily traveled street, you are kind of in no-man's land at those RR tracks surrounded by ghetto

This thing sparked enough local outrage that nobody - white, black, green with purple polka dots - was gonna claim this one.
