I tried the read the article but that website was killing me! If they don't have symptoms then it was likely shedding of virus particles or just a false positive. There is plenty of evidence that antibody response varies across the infected population and fades pretty quickly. At some point, it is likely that we will see people getting infected a second time with symptoms. The question is when does that happen? 6 months? 1 year? 2 years?

If no one dies or is severely sick from a second infection then it’s not that big of deal. It’s still an immunity from severe outcomes which is what we all should be concerned about.

On another note, why is testing so unreliable if one droplet of spit is so contagious?

I know someone that was hospitalized for a viral condition.
16 days and 8 test later he tested positive.
I’m not terribly confident in these test. Tests are most accurate after 14 days of symptoms.
How many false negatives are walking around spreading this stuff.
