The thing is, it is incredibly difficult to hide the fact that you are sharing AYCE crabs, given that they are so laborious to pick.

Our football team in high school would high tail it from practice to a wing place in town on Wednesday to make it to AYCE wings. You got 20 initially then 10 at a time afterward.
Even a bunch of broke arse high school boys didn't ever do this. Everyone ordered their own order of wings.

Let’s just call it the way it is. Certain groups are responsible for 95% of this crap AND it’s ALL races. All a manager/waiter has to do is care a little. If you see them stealing ask them to stop. If they don’t, cut them off and ask them to leave.

most AYCE places i've seen in the last 10-15 years have it figured out; they load you up with french fries or other cheap 'filler' along with your first order then when you ask for more food they drag their feet and finally bring you, say, a single catfish which you instantly eat and then the cycle repeats.
i used to order the extra catfish immediately when they brought out the first plate so by the time i was done, the new fish had arrived.
you get filled up by sitting there waiting because your food settles.
eta and that's fine; as long as the rules are posted ahead of time so you know whats going to happen.

I never understood the lemon thing. Just limit it to a wedge per drink. Want more than a wedge? .50 per wedge. Lemons aren’t free.
