Do ya'll participate in virgin sacrifice?
I haven't .... yet. I did screw a virgin once ... but not in a meeting. We have been married for 47 years and counting. And, yes, I did screw her more after that but she wasn't a virgin those times.
I haven't sacrificed any cats or rode any goats either. No animals or females (yet) allowed in meetings.

Not nearly as interesting as you might expect. At one of my lodges we have a basic meal (sometimes hotdogs, sometimes lasagna, depends on who's doing the cooking), the we go into the lodge room, open the meeting, discuss business much like any group would, close the meeting, and retire to the dining room again for coffee and cigarettes (for those that smoke).
My other lodge is quite formal. We open, discuss business, someone presents a scholarly paper, we close, then travel to a fine dining establishment for dinner.
That's your typical meeting.

Lame hats are for Shriners only. It's called a fez I think. The symbols on the hats have meaning but I have never asked about them.

Most Masons I meet are black. I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I think they are proud to belong to a good organization and like to show it.

The secret handshake, what's up with that?

they believe those who aren't Masons are less worthy than they
Some of the founding fathers were Freemasons. You can find Freemason signs in many places on capitol grounds.

I've always wanted to get hammered drunk decked out in Shriner gear. I would pull mad vaj with that hat.

My dad was a mason. He laid some of the best brick I've ever seen.

Fuk free masons

The secret handshake, what's up with that?
In the Middle Ages there weren't any union cards or government issued licenses proving you were a qualified worker of your craft.

Did the naysayers get that last item of business? Projects in the works to help others. We don't have a hospital. It is usually small community projects. Maybe supply manpower to help out at the special olympics. Donate a few dollars to some needy person or civic minded organization. Sometimes it isn't anymore at our lodge than notifying of a blood donor vehicle we are going to help set up .... and then donate of course.

We were taught that Freemasons are to call chi phi's 1st sons. We also have access to masonic lodges... This has been confirmed to me by a few masons who are aware of it.. but clearly it's not a common practice. Especially around the deep south with no ChiPhi chapters.
Hum... each Grand Lodge is slightly different so that may be the case in some jurisdictions. However, in Louisiana there is no official association with that fraternity. If an individual lodge chooses to sponsor someone (like a college fraternity, local Boy Scouts troop, whathaveyou) then they are more than welcome to do so.
I'd be very surprised to find that a Grand Lodge requires its members to open their doors to a collegiate fraternity. It would be my guess that while there is likely a close association between the two, there is no ritualistic nor binding contract between the them. This is not dissimilar from the connections between the lodge and Acacia fraternity.
Next time I'm discussing something with a brother from the north east I'll ask him about it. (I'm assuming that Chi Phi is much stronger in that region?)

Has your organisation apologised for the anti-Catholic riots they organised throughout the 1800s and 1900s in the US, the anti-Catholic dictatorship in Mexico headed by Plutarco Calles, the assassination of the Ecuadorian President Gabriel Moreno, the anti-Catholic marches and riots in Scotland, Wales, Canada, and the occupied counties of Ireland that your organisation to this day still organises, and the many other crimes that your organisation carries out against Catholics?

Woah. Calm down boy.
We're not some militant arm of the CIA or Mossad working to nefariously control the world. We're a social organization.
