Local Masonic lodges, ie. blue lodge members, are normal everyday Joe's. It's when you reach the upper levels, the 33rd degrees is where you truly learn the secrets. I've researched them a pretty good bit and it's pretty fascinating. Lots of their leaders and hallmark influencers have some really nasty ties. Pike, nimrod, Helena blavatsky.

There are some great videos and writings out there that pull direct quotes from Masonic literature. You just have to do the research. It's all there.

Kingbob unless the current Pope says it's ok for Catholics to be Freemasons.

My husband is a Freemason in a leadership role in his lodge and helped found a traveling lodge. What does OT want to know?

The current Pope has made no official ruling on the issue; though he did disapprove of Catholics becoming mansons while he was still a cardinal.

It is my understanding that in the early 1980s the Church stated that Catholics aren't explicitly prohibited from joining a lodge, but rather that those who do are living in sin. It is not considered an excommunicatable offense.

Have you considered Eastern Star? They aren't very active around these parts anymore.

Yes I have, but the nearest lodge is a long drive and my free time outside of work is committed to volunteering at my son's school. I will reach out when I have time to earnestly commit and hope to be invited.

If you ever become a higher level mason, you will have to denounce any affiliation with Jesus or God and pledge allegiance to the Owl god at Bohemian Grove. Then you have to do the elephant walk.

Due to popular demand that's been replaced with the time warp.

And Prince Hall uses the moonwalk.

EDITED TO REMOVE THE SECRETS THAT WOULD DESTROY THE MYTH OF THE ALL KNOWING AND ALL POWERFUL MASONS AND SHRINERS!! MUST KEEP ALL GOOD WORKS AND GOOD DEEDS SECRET FROM THE MASSES SO THEY CAN NEVER LEARN ABOUT THE OVERTHROW OF GOVERNMENTS, FREE GASOLINE FOR MEMBERS AND THE CHEAP CHICKEN FROM POPEYES.

AND SOMETHING ABOUT THE POPE THAT MUST REMAIN SECRET. MAYBE SOME BAPTISTS AND A FEW PROTESTANTS........

Been invited to join by neighbor, a good, solid man. Not sure I have the time/intrest to join.
But would be into Grandfather"s - "Father"'s lodge.
but it cut into my beer drinkin' time.
