I haven’t read all of the replies, but is there any speculation that maybe she facilitated the escape under duress? Maybe she or her family was threatened by someone associated with the escapee.

He also went on a crime spree in north AL and TN. He tried to kill his girlfriend, but she got out of the house. So he kidnapped her roommates and then killed her dog on the way out.
Then he carjacked two different people. He also is charged with attempted murder in TN (not sure what happened).

Read the US Marshall's news release said he brutally stabbed a woman Connie Ridgeway to death; which he admitted and why he awaiting trial at the jail. It said he was already serving time for a 2015 crime spree, home invasion, car jacking and police chase. The way it reads to me is he killed the her while in prison? It must just be a bad sentence structure? The fricker is huge..6'9" 260lbs.. better unload the whole mag if that big POS

This. She was head of transport. She made up a bogus story to get him out of jail and transported him alone against protocol. They were clearly having a relationship.
But my guess is she got him out thinking they were going to go live together somewhere.
But my guess is he used her, killed her, and he’s doing his own thing.
She is incredibly stupid and probably dead because of it.

Waiting for the update that says the deputy is found dead. No way that dude doesn't off her as soon as he finds it expedient. Very sad and stupid of her, if her involvement is as obvious as it seems, really reprehensible she would do this to her fellow officers and his other victims.

She probably won't be going back to anything, sadly. Strikes me as someone who never got much attention and was wooed by a criminal who will likely kill her once she's not useful.

I called that from the jump. This woe is me shite for the poor ugly blonde woman was never warranted. Not talking about here, but from the media and such. The funniest/saddest part is that this isn't some rank and file jailer just getting by. She's the second in charge at that county jail. For frick's sake Lauderdale County......get your shite together. I expect this from Lawrence County, but not you....

That's what will get her killed. Fugitives can't use bank accounts or credit cards. She had to sell her house and liquidate her accounts to fund this run. It want take her new boyfriend long to realize he can kill her and keep all of the cash for himself. He's got nothing to lose.
