There are multiple places to cross into Canada without going through customs. Hell, most of the border is open.
Yeah but going to Canada is worthless, they’d have had the Mounted PoPo all ver their asses .
You gotta get to a country without extradition to the US, meaning get on a plane before they notice ur missing .

If they had any brains whatsoever , and we can all agree they dont- they had a huge head start of several hours, and with a little planning they could have driven a couple hours to ATL or NASH airport and been on a plane out of the country before they were even noticed missing .. or better yet, could have split up and gone to seperate airports .

i dont think i could stand to watch a short dumpy Alabama chick with a waddling gait for two hours, or over the course of a series .

I think you could probably get into Mexico and then take a boat from Mexico to somewhere like Uruguay.

This whole thing could be the script from a Coen brothers flick.

So these knuckleheads have been running for 11 days, had $90k, and only made it to southern Indiana? Good grief.
Not to mention that when the full story comes out, you'll think they're even dumber
We basically knew their whereabouts several days ago, at least the general area they were in. They've been there for days and had ample opportunity to escape, but these two are seriously dumb and thought nobody had noticed them there even though they essentially stole the truck just a few miles away.
ETA - a different truck than in the video linked. We think they were scoping out the truck at the carwash to steal, which was their whole purpose for being there.
We received our first tip that they were in the area, which didn't seem actionable at the time due to the person reporting it (that's all I'll say), Thursday of last week. They've stayed in the same general location for at least 5 days
I wish I could tell everything I've heard about this one, but I can't just yet. I'll just say that they had one of the worst getaways I've ever seen when it comes to someone with actual money available whom could've easily fled out of country early on.
They could've easily been in somewhere like Morocco with no extradition to the US and never seen again had they planned correctly and gotten on a flight right away

Yes I am a US Marshal (with one 'L')
It's happened plenty of times with faked papers and passports. They had an early jump on the authorities, especially us, and could've easily had some faked documents or hauled arse down to Mexico and left from there (or even stayed there).
I don't know if you've ever crossed into Mexico by land, but it's extremely easy to get in - much harder and almost impossible to come the other way with fakes.
If I were them, I would've left for Mexico immediately from the jail and kept heading south to one of the smaller airports in the Yukatan peninsula, where I caught a flight to a non-extradition country. Or I would've stayed in Mexico and kept heading south into central and south America, ditching my vehicles along the way.
The US border is fairly easy to cross in some locations without being caught, imagine crossing the borders of some of the 3rd world countries in central and south America.
I'd make my way to the shittiest little airport I could find and use my faked docs to fly to Morocco or some other tiny non-extradition country halfway across the globe

He probably would have walked. She may have needed a wheel chair.

Thank you for the explanation. I was under the impression they knew they were missing within a couple of hours. What you said makes sense.

Two ways to do it —live like a jon homeless person in Seattle or Portland until winter. Them migrate to SoCal. Get lost in the masses and use cash only. Alternative is ro buy a boat on the front end. Have it in south Florida , loaded down with fuel (or sail if you really want to make a go of it ). Drive down and disappear in the islands.

This saga was pretty disappointing. I mean... Indiana? Are you serious? But, I guess criminals is stupid.

Do you know what her condition is?

Without compromising agency methods and sources, what’s an estimated man power allotment for a high value target such as this escaped capital murderer?

Even the local authorities weren't exactly aware they were missing for several hours, as she had manipulated the schedule to appear like she was taking him to a mental health evaluation. It was easily long enough that they could be out of the state and near (or across) the border.
Even then, they waited to run it up the chain and get feds involved for several more hours, nearly a day if I'm not mistaken. They could've been in Mexico before FedGov got involved outside of the locals

Given the combined IQ of these 2 idiots, I’m not sure why you’d be surprised. I’m personally shocked that he didn’t kill her. But that’s probably because he at least knew that he had no chance at going unnoticed without her around.
