Truthfully, I think the types you are referring to mostly don't even consider abortion. They have child after child after child.

How you figa my ****? I saw pictures and heard my kid's heartbeat well before 24 weeks scientifically on a TV screen you arrogant little man. No need for a fricking pastor. I personally don't have a dog in this fight because man truly has no decision on the matter, it is up to the woman. But having said that, you people who preach for the woman's rights can't have it both ways. It you are aborting it, by definition it first must be alive. Have a fricking spine.

We've been aborting babies by the millions for decades, beginning not long after we created the welfare state, and welfare has done nothing but get more out of control anyway.

It's not easy to support this argument beyond this one line of rhetoric and speculation.

It would be interesting to see how the paradigm would shift if more pro-abortion people were this honest. Come out and say your support for abortion hinges on the belief that people who get them are trashy leeches and see how far that gets you.

How much are poor teenaged / 20 year old girls expected to pay for an abortion? I figure there are some liberal advocacy groups that subsidize abortions for minorities, etc.
I assume the cost for an abortion for a middle to upper level woman would be significantly more.

Any legitimate evidence to support this?

Literally yes. Google freakonomics and abortion. But you shouldnt have to do this. It should be common sense. What demographics and class of people are more likely to get an abortion?

But he can’t understand the folks who are anti-abortion except in cases of rape and incest.

If you think abortion is murdering a child, why should it be okay to kill him just because his dad’s an a-hole?

Probably because it's even more physically and psychologically scarring as well as possibly a life-long responsibility for the mother who did not willingly have sex or get pregnant. There is no easy answer there.

The child is innocent and should not be aborted, even in cases of rape and incest.

Although the unborn child is innocent, it's much easier for any person other than the woman/child that was raped to say that they shouldn't abort it because after the trauma of being raped, we don't have to have to stop our life, have our bodies change, have a reminder of the monster that raped you growing inside of you and then go through the complications of child birth and the huge responsibility that comes with giving birth.. It's a terrible situation either way.

I know someone that was raped by her mother's boyfriend and she had the baby (even with her mother denying that it was his and saying she should have an abortion). She is a saintly lady and extremely strong though.

The bill contains an exception for when the pregnancy creates a serious health risk for the woman, but there is no exception for rape or incest.

What are you even talking about? If it’s such a small percentage why can’t the law be allowed for such cases? You’re proving my point.

You are the one advocating keeping abortions legal for the sake of cases that make up a tiny fraction of all abortions. It’s either murdering a baby or not. Doesn’t matter how it got to that point. And the amount of false rape cases would sky rocket.

So you don’t think this is an important exemption?

In instances of rape they should do what they should be doing now and taking the plan b pill to stop conception from even happening right after the event occurs.

18 years after Roe v Wade, crime rates in the US plummeted. Wonder what the reason was...

I look forward to Alabama’s legislature passing future bills to strengthen social services, Medicaid expansion, and expanded access to affordable non-abortion birth control. Because if it’s really about the sanctity of life and “protecting” these unborn children that should be the next logical step, right?

This argument is ridiculous. Just because you don’t want the child to be murdered doesn’t necessarily mean you have to advocate for these types of programs.

“Oh, you’re against child abuse? Well, how many kids have YOU adopted and fostered?”
