Spot on.

I like driving fast, but driving any truck really fast is a challenge, especially something like that.

Way light in the arse-end, and at higher speeds all trucks seem to have some front end lift, except diesels.

My first thought was it could use AWD, but that gets expensive.

Agreed, it looks like a rental truck. The wheels are pure crap and vinyl seating? Seriously? Ford makes complete crap when it comes to base model interiors

If it doesn’t come with 4x4, it’s not worth having.

I truck like this in a single cab with a 2.7 v6 would be in the $30k ballpark.

To make this truck worth the $46k.
They need to do something similar to the single cab for lighting in the 90's or Chevy / GMC cyclone in the late 80's early 90's. Truck suspension and braking needs to match the engine power they are pushing.

This is not going to be a work truck, so it needs a sporty faster suspension.
Paint job needs to match sporty with painted grill & bumpers.

They need to look at AWD or rear end that torqued where you won't fly off the road as the rear light.
It needs sporty race type tire & rim with upgraded brake calipers, rotors, and pad.
The truck needs to hug the road and be able to stop with the speed people will try to do with this truck.
The person buying this truck is not using it to haul or tow.
This is a muscle car play toy purchase.

Interior
Need more of a sporty race car style seat that hugs your body.
Steering wheel needs a good leather wrap for a good grip.

Do all that, and it is no longer a sleeper or under 50k which is the whole purpose of this truck.

3/4 ton with 4x4 and crew cab should come in at the same price. Would be much more useful.

Totally agree, especially on 4x4 and wonder why the downvotes?

Are folks downvoting because not possible in the 45k price?
Or do people really not want 4x4 and crew cab?

For the record, the vehicle I miss most, is my 87 Ford Ranger 4x4, w/ extended cab, A/C, tape deck/ radio.
I think it cost me around 8k used.

Had mud flaps and an aftermarket grill and winch...
Drove it 'til some a-hole kid speeding on Highland road rear ended me, bent the frame and totaled it.

3 liter supercharger on a V8 in a light truck. If it didn't come with a high performance rear end, suspension, and exhaust that will be a major expense to contemplate.

Hmmmm, makes me wonder a few things; What goes into being tarted the first time? Does it hurt to be re-tarted?

I agree this thread exhibits some examples of “low IQ”

That $46,000 will turn into $66,000 once you add warranty/ service plan and interest.

IDK how much work truck it'll be doing when it'll be in the shop all the time.

Better have a backup vehicle on standby.
