I had an airport bartender tell me it’s the postponed flights that get people. Flight on time, it’s maybe 2ish drinks. Flight gets postponed, then who knows where the days goes. Especially if they are cut off at one place, and able to get it together enough at another place down the way.

One of the biggest tragedies of 9-11 is not being able to hang out at an airport terminal bar without a ticket.

I don’t really drink in airports anymore but the worst I ever got was I barged outside the bathroom while waiting in line on a flight once after pounding screwdrivers in the United Lounge

One of my ex-gfs absolutely hated flying and would take half an ambien in the bar before boarding. Sometimes the flight would get delayed and adventures were had trying to get her to look sober while boarding. Fun times.
