I booked a flight yesterday with AA and was not prompted for that?

That’s a great excuse to stay longer with her boyfriend.

Your wife might be a liar. It’s actually pretty cool that you get to call her out on the fact that tigerdroppings told you she was wrong.

Sounds a little fishy... You might want to verify.

That’s not what delta is telling her

I literally flew home from Minneapolis to Memphis yesterday on Delta. There is no requirement for that. She's either lying, misunderstood something or you're trying to troll.

My wife tried to book a flight to Memphis and delta is requiring a negative covid test 48 hours before the flight to and from.
Even if vaccinated. frick flying. If she’s in a hotel in Memphis she’s now expected to find a doctors office and catch a cab and get a rapid covid test to fly home?
They are fn retarded.

This doesn’t add up

I’m currently on my 6th Delta flight this week and I’ve never had to provide a Covid test for domestic travel

I’ve flown from ATL to Memphis several times in the last 2 months

I just got billed $1700 for my rapid Covid test back on 7/21 that my work required for me to return to the office and so far insurance is only covering $650 of it.

Beyond ridiculous and frustrating

Major convenience problem to have someone get tested prior to boarding. They aren’t going to do that.

Unless your wife is flying internationally, someone is lying.

If they want to require this, they should also be providing this
You think the airline is going to generously test everyone on their dime? Or would it be more likely that they would just increase fares to cover that cost?

In addition to showing a negative COVID-19 test to an agent at the airport, the mandate requires customers to sign an attestation certifying that they have received a negative test result.

Its not been announced for domestic travel just yet. Biden just extended the mask mandate for the vaccinated to Jan 2022, so telling vaccinated persons to get tested in order to fly wont be far behind
