Damn. Life truly does come at you fast. They probably figured they'd play vigilante neighborhood cop. That way they can brag with their baws at the shitty bar in town.

And now they're spending the rest of their lives in a prison cell

Seems excessive for the guy following with a camera. I doubt he had bad intentions. Most people don’t want to film a murder they are about to commit.

I won’t lose sleep, all involved are morons

I think he might have cut him off/bumped him or something like that - either way- he was involved enough in the pursuit to been a factor in the murder - but i agree ….sometimes our “accomplice charges” are a bit heavy handed.

Well. He was caught trespassing in an unfinished house that had been burglarized recently. Camera footage of multiple trespassers in there recently before. Arbery was found with no stolen items. So the answer is maybe, maybe not, but he definitely looked to be up to no good. But mostly, those guys had no right to citizen's arrest, so they're guilty/responsible for his death.

Aside from these idiots murdering that guy in cold blood, the stupidest thing in the article is capitalizing the races of each party: a Black man killed by White men.

Good they deserve it

Exactly. I'd love to hear the explanations of justification for the chase/shooting from people who don't agree with them being found guilty.

Couldn’t understand why once he was confronted ‘
They simply didn’t call the law. But they continued and now will pay the price the rest of their lives

Should—or could—that D.A. face charges of surprising this to allegedly protect the elder McMichael who they had a prior relationship with?

If I’m not mistaken, they are actively investigating and may have even indicted the DA already

How many times have you intervened from 100 feet away in your car when a gun needlessly came out?

I remember viewing that video and my first thought was-"Those assholes are going to do serious time".

Looks like I was right.

But this is the predictable outcome when people get tired of being theft victims and law enforcement can’t or won’t stop it.

No, no it’s not.

None of these guys had any of their own shite stolen, and Arbery was never seen on camera stealing anything from the home, nor did he have anything on him that day.

Citizen arrest is legal in the state and those “rednecks” were making a lawful citizens arrests. A citizen arrest can be made on a misdemeanor or felony regardless if you view the violation or not

Objectively false.

quote:

The rednecks attempted to stop the jogger and the jogger veered and approached (actually attacked) the gunman. They struggle over the gun and then he was killed. The redneck had a right to defend himself when someone is trying to take over ur weapon.

None of this is true, which is why they were quickly found guilty on their charges.

At least you've given up on the whole "jogger" narrative.
