Just smear tactics aimed at landry.
It’s not hard to smear Landry. He was woefully under qualified for the position. I don’t think he knows what the inside of a courtroom looks like, let alone does he have an appellate decision

Hopefully there's a better person who can carry the conservative banner in the 2023 race.

Just a couple months ago seemed like Landry bots were putting up posts already trying to go after Graves. Guess he's the main threat??

So if you say mean things about my kid online and hurt his feelings, I have the right to frick your wife and burn your house down?
Being contacted by a clearly psychotic woman claiming to be your birth mother isna step beyond "mean things"

It has long been my contention that most of the people who post on this board would be much happier living in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan or under rule of the House of Saud in Saudi Arabia.
This thread only confirms that.

Landry is so clumsy and stupid in his ham fisted methods that this issue will come up again and again when he runs for Gov.

Wait, are you saying it would have been better to have aborted her to avoid this awkward situation? If so...that fricked up.
No, I am not saying that at all. I am saying abortion has prevented many of these situations because people that have abortions are more often than not incapable of making decisions for the well being of children. The two statements are not the same at all.
Right. That's so very different.

This is nothing more than a hit piece coming out of NOLA in an attempt to keep Landry out of the Governor’s Ofc.
1st - what laws, if any, were broken by Landry or Guidry?
2nd? Isn’t stalking illegal? Why did the biological mother feel the need to create a false identity? Was it due to court restrictions given her past?
Real victim is the teenager.

If Landry is elected governor, either Landry or Guidry or both will wind up in Federal Prison, as the temptation for larcenious schemes would be to great for either to resist.

This isn’t stalking. Stalking requires repetition:

Which Landry either knows, or should have known. As such, mobilizing government agents to influence the otherwise legal behavior of a private citizen because a political supporter asked you to is, arguably, a form of malfeasance.

between the Advocate/Georges and Landry
This is the same paper that called a us supreme court decision a "speedbump" in getting all the non-unanimous jury verdicts released from jail pending retrials.
They don't need a pissing contest to report anything that politically helps soros or hurts republicans.

Guidry and Landry were nicer than I would have been. The best interests of the child are paramount. It was inexcusable for the “mother” to tell Guidry’s daughter about her adoption. That was something for the girl’s family to do and only if and when they thought proper and appropriate. For a stranger to text it to the girl is a sin if not a crime.
And yes, the “biological mother” is a stranger to Mr. Guidry’s daughter. Giving birth does not make you a parent let alone a mother. Jail is a good place for the “pretend mom” aka “biological mother”. All respect to mssrs Landry and Guidry.

No media outlet in Lafayette touched this one.

But the contact wasn’t legal as per Court agreements- that’s the point.

Calling The Advocate a “media outlet” is being overly kind to something barely suited to be birdcage liner

Right, the Acadiana edition did cover it. Why didn't anyone else?

By contractual agreement or court order? If the latter, sure. If the former? The wheels of the state coming into motion to enforce a civil contract isn’t kosher.

You can say whatever you want about Jeff Landry on a personal level but I believe at this time that his conservative credentials are not in doubt. He’s an ideologue when it comes to the big ticket items and has been a huge pain in the arse for liberal pos JBE.
I’m neutral on Jeff Landry as I’m always open to other candidates but when it comes to voting, I’m all about who’s the most likely to cater to my political and financial interests and if a dick like Jeff Landry is that guy, then so be it.
If you’re trying to find a “good person” to vote for, you’ll be waiting a long time.
