I swear my old role forced me into it. I got a new gig. Still procrastinate, but do a lot better.

Read the books mindfulness and the power of now.

Learn how to focus on the present. Learn how to talk to yourself (inner voice) to put yourself back on the right track.

Understand that you are a space cadet. Your mind will wonder. Big deal, just realize when it is happening and re-focus.

Stay off the drugs. There is no way that taking speed every single day of your life is healthy.

Taking vyvance will LITERALLY cause you to fail a drug test the same as if you were on crystal meth.

Been struggling. Lots of addy and busting my arse. Getting diagnosed with ASD last week kind of helped explian some why It seems I wasn’t doing everything very well.

Luckily I’ve been able to keep a decent job, for now.

Hoping cognitive behavioral therapy may help. Not sure if this would help someone with strictly adhd.

Needed a place tell about the asd, but not sure this is it but whatever.

I appreciate all the honest and thoughtful answers and will take them into consideration

I got prescribed with adderall back in college, but I have always been able to understand complicated info pretty quickly so I never took it cause I didn’t think I needed it; and my mom was always anti med so it rubbed off on me.

Then you didn't have it, much less understand what it is.

Your welcome! After a quick google search, it seems CBTherapy can definitely help with adhd! And the anxiety that comes with it...and other things.

Of course it’s not a joke.
How else can you explain medical miracles and anomalies after prayer that even doctors themselves can’t explain?

I had it once.

My dad cured me in about 10 seconds with his belt. Seriously. It was never a problem after that.

Behavioral adjustments based on how those around me arre acting, which was usually much more mature than I was.

For work, consequences did it for me. If I didn’t get something done on time or with quality it was given to someone else. So ya, I was shamed into focusing at work.

You didn't have ADHD then.

You do have the stupid though if you actually believe you had it and a belt fixed it.
