I am sorry Dolly Parton died. She lived a long and full life and was a great entertainer. She also had plenty of less than admirable traits.
It is utterly absurd that our flags were lowered to half mast and now the governor of Tennessee wants to rename the Nashville airport in her honor. Give me a break.
Dolly was engaged in philanthropic endeavors. So what! Literally millions of people give to the less fortunate as they are able.
Let's not overplay our grief.
Rest In Peace, Dolly.
