Is she the one from Ascension Episcopal? My daughter's boyfriend and one of her best friends graduated from there last year and her best friend still has a brother at the school. So awful.

This isn’t necessarily a BR issue, it’s an everywhere issue. I had multiple family and friends at Lakeside mall when that shooting happened last year (or maybe it was two years ago at this point), nowhere is safe and as a father of three young children that absolutely sucks to say.

Your memory of BR historic crimes is not a normalization of what is happening now. Those were huge stories back then. Now we have today's shooting, the police motorcop who was run over last year, Madison brooks, Alli Rice....all in a short span. Just because major crimes happened over the 50year span of our memories doesn't exonerate what's happening now as historical normalcy.
