Like the dumbass I am I accidentally left raw chicken in my truck overnight this past weekend and the smell is awful, I cleaned the weathertech mat but somehow some of the juice seeped through the mat into the carpet, I currently have baking soda on the carpet and will vacuum that up today. Any tips on getting rid of the smell, I plan on scrubbing the carpet tonight. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA

the citrus juice will eat up the odor causing bacteria. So will white vinegar but vinegar causes its own smell issues.

It seeped through the weathertech? I'd at least call them and get them to replace that matt.

Yeah idk how, I cleaned the surface of the mat and got all the liquid but when I opened the truck the next day thats when the smell hit and the bottom of the mat was wet.

go get a single shrimp and throw it in there for a few days.

You wont notice the chicken anymore.

Do you have a garage?

If so, definitely leave the windows down overnight several times.

White vinegar works wonders, but it definitely has it's own smell (which will fade).

Leave some dead fish in there for a couple of days. Will completely wipe out the smell of chicken.

Play it safe and definitely cook it all the way through, or you could possibly get sick.

I would hit it with hot water mixed with some sort of detergent, scrub like hell...then run a dehumidifier for 24 hours with doors closed
