Overpriced and artificially crowded.

I hear they are doing one in Maurice now too.

Oddly enough 110 is one of the most manageable interstates/highways in the area. I'd consider Zachary if I worked downtown. Screw commuting to the Bluebonnet/Essen area from there though. I've gotten spoiled by my 10-15 minute commute.

Building looks nice to me. And I'm pretty sure it was planned like that from the beginning.

Damnit boy. Where do all these people come from?

Scottlandville flight. The good neighbors are headed north.

This. Zachary is a much easier drive to downtown, LSU, ExxonMobil, and the airport than anything in Livingston or Ascension.

And they have a competitive school district and seem to be growing pretty steadily. If the plot of land they are developing didn't flood, it's probably worth putting pretty dense housing on.

They have a huge one going up in Gonzales. Actually looks pretty nice.

I think this might be going up in the extreme northern end of EBR Parish. I guess technically Jackson address, but Zachary school district. Just north of Zachary.

They are. There is also one across the highway that looks like 10 feet lower in elevation.

I am sure the developer told everyone they want growth and they know what everyone needs even though people are against it. They did same in Central. Hopefully Central wises up and votes the Mayor out for bringing these scumbags to the area.

They are building one in Central called the Settlement at Shoe Creek. It's pretty large too. 450 homes and a 150 condos/townhomes.

As with everything, LA is about 20 years behind. This type of development has been common in other parts of the countries for a couple decades now - if not longer.

Would you really call that being behind?

And that's not even calculating in the space the roads and pool take up.
