If you can get along with your family it makes it easy. Parents had a pool also so everyone wanted to come over in the summer anyway

They should start more kids on to trade school classes in High School like they do with college credits.

It is a growing trend that schools are basically telling kids that they are stupid if they don't go to college... so we are seeing tons of kids go to college and get useless liberal arts degrees when they should be going to trade schools and making 3x the money for the rest of their lives

It's never gonna happen.

I'm 24 and still live at home. I'm still in college and that's why I'm still at home. I help out with bills like my cell phone bill and insurance.

That's not "helping out with bills" broski. Those are YOUR bills and you should be paying for them.

Helping out with bills would be you paying for a percentage of all the utilities and groceries.

I swear kids today don't have a clue about how easy they have it. I started working before I could legally drive and when I was in high school, I bought my own clothes, bought my own car and even paid the insurance on it, all by myself. Did I miss out on some parties? Hell yeah, but what I learned about work ethic and responsibility has carried me pretty far thus far.

I'm not meaning to sound like a grumpy arse old man, but get the titty out of y'all's mouths and go meet the world head on.

This generation voted for this. I have no pity on those who voted for Mr. Obama and this pathetic excuse of a Government that we now have.

Maybe they will vote more wisely next time.

I would encourage all recent college grads to move back in with their parents for at least a year to save money if they can

it just makes sense financially

College isn't for everyone but Americans have the mindset it is. Over here they can pick out pretty early who is going to college and who will pick up a trade and those kids start learning the trade young.
