I’d argue that grown adults who barely understand basketball fundamentals and can’t make a 4–6 foot shots consistently sets a worse example for kids.

I'm not sure, but it has reminded me of an almost lost memory. I posted in another dildo thread, but it got whacked. (<-Yes, that's a sentence in 2025.)
Anyway, I'll repeat it here. In the before times, in the long, long ago, I went to school for the Army to become a combat engineer.
Part of that training was conducted by a group of men (12B was all men back then) called "The Landmine Warfare Committee." We were with them over several days. Several of them had real world experience demining places like the Sinai. They had "family vacation" style slideshows of their experiences including grinning idiots, dead camels and the like.
They also had a training aid. It was an oversized replica of a human phallus. Its purpose was to aid in demonstrating proper condom use. They didn't use it for that, though. They had painted it olive drab and used it as a mascot. They called it El Guapo.

It's what I said after the second one. The more the media and insufferable WNBA players DEMAND the public hold the league/players in greater importance than they are, the more the public will push back against that narrative.
There is a place for the WNBA. And whether you like women's basketball or not, it's a good thing, in general, that there is a league where women can play professional basketball. But understand your market value and stop making demands for an artificially increased market value based upon a non-sensical "equity" argument. And to the media, stop calling anyone who isn't a fan of the WNBA a racist, or sexist, or both. All that does is put the public on the defensive...which is apparently expressed by throwing dildos on the court (never thought I'd write that!)
You can't force people to like you. You also can't shite all over the one person who was bringing new customers to your business out of jealously because of her race. The WNBA is putting on a masterclass of how NOT to run a business.
