Mythology, I think I'm a mythologist now.....

I don’t know that it’s necessarily a talent, but the deeper I’ve gotten into my career in the medical profession, the better I’ve gotten at carrying on casual conversation with people. I used to think that if I had to result to selling cars (or something similar) for a living, that my family and I would starve, but I feel better about my communication skills these days.
(Yeah, I know, CSB and whatnot)

Freehand Wire sculpting
Well this is certainly random. What kind of wire does one use for doing that?

I used copper wire. We’d have a few feet or more left over after a job and i’d Untwist it and cut it into sections about a foot or so long.
It’s malleable enough to work with fairly easily but still holds its shape.
Thinner steel wire might work as well. Or aluminum, although that might be too brittle with extended working.
If you uncoil it from a heavy gauge strand you want to grip both ends in pliers, then contract it and pop it taut and it will straighten the wire

I'm not sure it's a talent but I mentor cancer patients. Some i know, others by email or phone. It started about three years after I was diagnosed with cancer. By mentor I mean share my treatment experiences, my knowledge of the disease, how to get referrals, clinical trial opportunities, dealing with insurance, copay assistance programs. I'm currently in a phase one trial myself. First in humans. Good day.

Still waiting to find out

I learned I have an uncanny ability to easily learn to understand and speak other languages. I learned Russian in a couple of months just by listening to my interpreter repeat in Russian what I had just said (in English). No formal lessons. The same for Serbo-Croatian, Ukrainian and Mandarin Chinese.

Balancing my food tray on my stomach, with no hands, eating, and watching tv simultaneously !

That’s really cool. I’ve picked up bits and pieces of many languages but never took the time to really get fluent

A cartwheel. Since my daughter is in gymnastics I am now working on getting a good handstand and then walking on my hands is next.

That’s a very rare gift.

I always put the microwave on for the exact right time. Never too hot, never still cold. This is the one thing I am elite at

great question and I'm going to say that I'm more organized than I thought, esp when traveling. I seem to be the only person who never loses shite and always has everything together on most trips.

Card tricks and general magicianship. Glad I didn't discover it early.

That’s a very rare gift.
My interpreter in Kiev, Ukraine told me she had never seen anyone learn Ukrainian as quickly as I did. She was married to an American and they had lived in Kiev for 7 years when I first started working there and after 2 months I was able to understand and speak Ukrainian better than her husband could.
I wish I had known I have this weird ability younger in life so I could have put more time into learning other languages.
