Exiting Siegen. The person driving the Honda has no regard for the rules of the road. They simply don't apply to him.

To their credit, I can say that the SUV and truck did not let this person in, which I was happy to see.

I can also say that while I do my very best to remain completely calm while driving and not let others get it to me, I would have lost it on him.

Yeah he’s a piece of shite.

I get over and try to block people like that too. They can wait like everyone else. That’s not a “zipper” situation at all. Simply a “my time is more important than everyone else’s” a-hole one.

I agree. I followed him, as I was turning onto Siegen. He exited at the North Mall Drive exit. He did not appear to be in a work uniform.

I was past the yellow line, however, I was still on the concrete road - not on the shoulder. I only did this while taking pictures since I was either stopped or going less than 5 mph.

So they are stuck at a red light in the left lane and Honda tried driving in the grass to get around 2 vehicles?

Sounds to me like Honda driver is an idiot.

What’s the game plan there. Isn’t everyone waiting behind a line of cars. Why would anyone think someone is going to let you in if you pull up beside them on the grass?

There is absolutely zero chance I'd let that guy in. I'd risk the damage if he wanted to try and force it.

I don't think he is an idiot. I believe he is an inconsiderate and selfish driver.

You’re doing the same thing as him in the first picture, no?

If the shoulder area of Siegen Lane (on the left hand side) weren't so bad, and he wouldn't risk bottoming out, he would have proceeded to go all the way to the front of the line.

Some people are just shite. The Williams on ramp to I-10 East is a prime example. People from the interstate get into the on ramp lane to leapfrog the folks who are waiting through the backlog like decent humans. I block them when I can, but that only backs up the on ramp traffic.

I actually love preventing people from skipping the line like this. Happens almost daily coming home from work at the roundabouts on 44 towards Pelican Point. They get pissed too but I dare them to hit me every single time and they never do.

You’re driving on the shoulder too and what kind of psycho has their phone in power saving mode at 48%? Damn, baw, you need to live on the edge.

So it’s one of those situations where all the cars backed up to turn right are blocking everyone from getting up to the left turn lanes? The car was trying to get around the line of cars trying to turn right so he could turn left?
