Quite amazing. Those hands have done that before.

I was mesmerized and I don't even smoke cigars.

10 minute video with 25 minutes worth of box time breaks, so 35 total minutes for one cigar.
Anyone know the type of adhesive substance used?

In Honduras and Nicaragua they usually use a yucca starch to hold the leaf together. Not sure in Cuba, but more than likely the same.

Watched while having coffee this morning. Enjoyed.

Enjoyed the video.
There is an ongoing cigar thread on the F&D board. Should link this video there, as well.

Wonder if that would work for other plants? Asking for a friend.

Leave it to the OT to come out with the obscure knowledge to lay down.

I’ve seen guys in Cuba do that on their lap sitting in the drying barn on a tobacco farm in Vinales without a single tool.

We always just use elmers glue for the adhesive. Cheap and adds to the flavor.

Some use gum tragacanth, as well.

Damn, a box pressed Robusto with Maduro wrapper. Yes sir!
I'm surprised more hand rolleds aren't finished with a pigtail. I thought that was where he was going for a minute. It just gets clipped anyway. Seems to me the cap is some extra effort. I guess you can't accuse master cigar rollers of not being true craftsmen.

Impressive skill and cool to watch. I'm big on cigars, so this is especially cool.
Probably won't make a great cigar though. One leaf isn't going to give the variety for a balanced blend, but I wouldn't mind trying it.
