Thought this was interesting. I can’t fathom the amount of materials needed for this, those cables are thick.

Those locations are approximate. All of those lines terminating in NY are actually terminating in Northern Virginia.

And if you want a hot stock tip... the building they all terminate in, and all the termination and cross connects are owned by a little-known publicly traded company called Equinix, ticker symbol EQIX. Look up "MAE EAST" for further reading.

Don't say I never did anything for yall.

If the good folk in NOLA find out about all that heavy gauge copper laying there with nobody guarding it, we’re going to see a historic number of drownings.

This reminds me of the episode of Gilligan's Island when that telephone cable washed ashore in the island.

They were going to get rescued, but naturally, Gilligan screwed it up, again.

I bet the darker colored cables have faster speeds than the lighter ones

So a $600 per share stock is your hot stock tip?

Methinks you don't know how stock prices work.

You’re telling me there are actual, physical “internet cables” spanning the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean? And all over the world?

Because consider me fricking shocked if so..

What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here
Know how to jam here
Under the sea
Each little slug here
Cuttin' a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail here
Know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter
Under the water
Ya we in luck here
Down in the muck here
Under the sea
