Lol. Des Moines on racial inclusion. There is less than 5% minority population in DSM. How the hell would they know?

I read somewhere that Houston is now the most diverse city in the country.

Double of what Albany, NY has.

but they are really spread out

If people can live where they want to live they may not settle in Brookings-approved formations.

and with the newfound black separatist crap it isn't all white people deciding that either.

As long as white liberals have a token family or two in the neighborhood but a couple of streets over they are A-OK.

When was the last time you were in Albany? It's almost 30% black.

Louisville will likely never have racial inclusion. The neighborhoods here have been largely segregated for several decades and the West End might as well be a wasteland (for a variety of reasons beyond just race). And a good portion of it is self-segregation across the board.

I've never lived in an area so segregated before

I work in broadcast and basically there are TV stations that do really well in the west end and suck in the east end, and vice versa

WHAS(ABC) and WAVE(NBC) dominate the east end and suck on the west end

WLKY(CBS) and WDRB(FOX) dominate the west end and suck on the east end

The problem is that advertisers want viewers who actually have money, so while WLKY and WDRB have more raw viewers, WHAS and WAVE have the viewers that actually matter. It's interesting because WLKY and WDRB are always talking about how great they are since they have the most number of viewers, and then WHAS/WAVE say how great they are because they have the most number of affluent viewers on the East End, and then WLKY and WDRB get mad and call WHAS/WAVE racist and mean spirited for pointing that out.

I lived in Cedar Rapids and I think the population there was 3% black. And it seemed like all 3% of them were at Wal Mart each time I would go. They all lived in the same neighborhood

How on earth is SF racially inclusive? They're 5% black while Oakland is 30%. And according to the NYT (I know...) Most black San Franciscans live in the projects.

You do realize that there are more races than just "black" and "white"?

racial inclusion: improved outcomes for white and people of color and reduced racial disparities
I think some people saw racial inclusion but didn't see the definition.

Just saying, although I do agree with a lot of the responses.

They are. People are still fleeing these places.

It had 4 until 2010-ish.

All of them lived on the East Side.

The East Side gentrified, their slum tenements were bulldozed to make way for expensive condos, and 3 of them moved to Pflugerville.

The one who is still there resides in the nicest county projects you've ever seen, surrounded by trendy bars and restaurants.
