Refreshing that they haven’t been infiltrated yet to include trans people and different ethnicities

Not a cell phone in sight. Just living in the moment. Absolutely beautiful, wish we could go back.

Very cool.

My cousin's artillery group went to Vicksburg over the weekend to take part in the anniversary there. Because he is part of the artillery detachment of Kennesaw Mountain NMP they actually got to set up on federal land. I think he was at the 2nd Texas Lunette and the river battery at Fort Hill.

It would have been historically accurate if they had

Historians estimate that as many as 1,000 women may have disguised themselves as men and served in the Confederate and Union armies. Among the best-known and well-documented cases are those of Sarah Rosetta Wakeman, a.k.a. Pvt. Lyons Wakeman; Loreta Janeta Velazquez, a.k.a. Lt. Harry T.

Awesome! I'm thinking of going next year. Do they let you re-enact on the actual spots where the battle happened like the field where Pickett's charge happened and the calvary fields?

My grandparents family is from about 50 miles outside Gettysburg so we’ve been lucky to visit twice for family reunions.

Never gets old. The actual town is very quaint and nice as well.
