A different kind of Dog vs Cat debate.

My family got this kitten about a year ago. It is a tuxedo colored american shorthaired cat we found outside a high school gym.
Fast forward.
He seems pretty smart so I started trying to teach him various dog like traits.
He will come when you call him by name.
He will comfortably go for walks/slow jogs on a leash.
He has learned to fetch a soft toy and bring it back at drop it at my feet.
He has learned how to use a drawer handle to open his treat drawer by standing on top of the counter and pushing it out. (I did not teach him that)
I am about to teach him to use the toilet and flush it, so no more litter box.
What else would be cool to teach him? I think he could learn just about anything.
And is there any point where you "dog people" would admit he is a cool critter to own?

This is a way too elaborate of a "coming out of the closet" story.

so you are trying to make your cat act like a dog? how does this prove that cats are cool?

Very subtle "I had sex" thread.

MY CAT IS SO COOL! IT ACTS JUST LIKE A DOG!
See how stupid that sounds? Just get a dog like a real man.

See if you can get to the bottom of the whole cats & cucumbers thing.

If the cat plays fetch and walks on a leash, you have my blessing.
