That’s because it was a dud of a movie until Ted turner bought the rights and forced a holiday tradition by playing it on repeat

Very true. I thought I'd wasted my time and money. First year I recall seeing it on TV was 87ish

Not true...

Haven’t seen Ernest Saves Christmas last couple years. My kids loved it. I guess it must have offended some group and they canceled it.

It was on the homepage of Disney+ pretty much the entire holiday season.

Love how the wife is in the background laughing as the old man tries to put the lamp back together. But as he turns she goes into straight face again...

For me when A Christmas Story went off the air for the last time that night, kind of felt like Christmas was officially over

We usually try to watch 3 movies on Christmas Eve. Elf, Christmas Vacation, and Scrooged. Got stuck working this year so we only got to watch Elf.

I've seen the movie 100s of times and noticed something for the very first time, last night...

When Randy is sleeping under the tree, he's laying next to a Frankenstein head. Is it a mask? Part of a doll? Seems out of place, but a bit but hilarious nonetheless!

Have yall seen that before??? Ha!

I noticed today that the Chinese Restaurant had a “Bowling” light sign with the “W” burned out.

Which is 100% consistent with the waiters inability to pronounce the W sound

He is but he also kind of seems to be on the spectrum.
