71 to sleep

73 to 76 during the day pending how we feel.

Bought a dehumidifier for my master bath with high ceilings that gets hotter than the rest of the house.. Damn thing works pretty good, but still waiting to see how it does when the BR summer goes into brutal mode.

76? Got damn, man, she’s right. Folks in Africa think that’s too hot. I’d like to go around 68 at night but settle at 70 - 75 during the day.

66. Optimal temps for good sleep are 65-70. Your body needs to cool down to sleep properly.

There is a few things to this. First, people probably have a genetic predisposition. For instance, I grew up in the desert and prefer it warmer. My house stays around 75 amd I cool it down if someone comes over. You would also be surprised how many people do not understand you are colder if the air flow is directly upon you. People could save a lot of money by just turning on a fan. Find your friends that set their AC to 65 in the middle of Louisiana summer. Odds are that thru do not have enough AC tonnage for that and their shite always breaks

With a name like Cajunlife I assume you don’t live up North. So yeah 76 in SWLA is hot. Ours is anywhere from 68-70 at night depending temps outside here at night.

During the day we leave it at 72.

We keep it at 76 and the wife bitches that it's too damn hot.

That's because it's too damn hot.

It also doesn't sound like we set it, sounds like you set it and tell her to deal with it.
