Highly doubtful this is Jewish owned. Most delis in NYC are small convenience stores owned by Arabs, Latinos or South Asians.
These types of stores are not like the Katz's Delicatessen type place like many are thinking.

I'm glad no one died and hope the piece of shite who did it spends the rest of his life in prison.
That said, there's very little margin for error with fire. I still giggle about the dumb shits who burned themselves alive trying to do this during the riots. Talk about Karma being swift.
