You trying to make a thread about old Baton Rouge restaurants without mentioning Mama Brava's? Nice try, rook.

What happened with the location of the old Camelot Club?

A group of us used to go there once a month for years - decent food, great views, and after a few drinks we all felt like we were Baton Rouge royalty.

Pedro’s didn’t have matches but you sure needed them after eating there.

Village, was ok as I went a few times.

It was where the present day Academy is on Airline.

The most unsurprising thing is no one has mentioned Lafitte’s Landing. Bunch of unwashed Sonic eaters and Wal-mart shoppers on the OT.

Where was Lafitte’s Landing located? I remember the name, but can’t place the location.

Do you do anything with old Vegas stuff? I may either be willing to sell something or buy those Vegas matchbooks. I'd need to see where rhey are from though

That was the Destifano family. I know I’m butchering the spelling but you should know the name I’m referencing. Mark Maggios place, The Village, D’agstinos, all were spin offs from that kitchen and family.
