Lamborghini’s marketing guy: ‘Only a beautiful woman should be the passenger in this car’ and ‘This white car is like a beautiful virgin’
Includes film from inside the factory
Test driver Balboni apparently had a license to drive as fast as he wanted on Italian roads

Was in South Beach last week. Lambos are like Camrys down there. Whoever rents them things out must be making a killing

My father purchased a Countach in 1986, sold it before I got my license.
I can still remember the sound at 7,000rpms.

Definitely. In the 80's these cars looked so different and exotic. There weren't too many and it was always a big deal when you saw one irl.
Now all the supercars kind of look the same and they are all over the place in Miami. Just go to any trendy club.
They are way more expensive and faster than the ones in the 80's but no one really seems to get excited anymore.
The only draw is that they are expensive and the chicks think you have real money. bitd the cars looked freakishly wild so they really got a lot of heat. Now you may as well go to the club with an S class, you'll pull the same trim.
Also most peeps are renting the exotics for the clubs. Chicks don't know the difference, they dumb.

I saw that 60 minutes piece when it aired. Ferruccio basically gave the finger to Enzo.

Al Copeland had a Countach.. First one I saw when pulling up next to him on Vets in Metry... I was in my Supra, he didn't want to race...

In 87, one of my cousins bought one and let me drive it. Its definitely not an around the town type of car.
It has a very stiff clutch. But getting on the interstate, we hit 120 mph in 3rd gear! What a beautiful, bad arse car. I think in 1987, they were 185K.

and my old man picked up a 1987 Buick GN...….stop light to stop light, it would be uncomfortably close for the Lambo considering the money difference.
