"better"

The hotdogs and hamburgers were straight up trash

I'll still eat the pizza lunchables every once in a while though

The crackers, cheese, and ham ones actually make for a good road trip snack. Easy to eat while driving and no mess

I don’t know what it was about the 90s but everything just seemed so kid oriented. Snacks, drinks, fast food restaurants, everything just seemed to market to kids. Probably the best decade to be a kid. It was a good combo of the 80s with arcades, malls, places like Chuck E. Cheese, discovery zone, fast food restaurants with play areas, video game stations. You had the popularity of video games but kids still largely played outside and played city league sports. Neighborhoods were still mostly safe. Some of the best cartoons on tv with Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network on cable

That’s because it was. Kids are waaaaaay easier to advertise to than adults.

Have you noticed that there are no Play places at McDonalds anymore, or that Ronald McDonald is no longer making appearances? Advertising to kids is looked down upon today, and for good reason.
