I already go insanely bored enough from multi-day cruises. I couldn't imagine being stuck on one for that length of time.

I wonder how many people packed up and flew home during a port visit.

I love the people watching on cruises but not for 9 months.

For starters, i would drink myself in full blown raging alcoholism.

I mean, what else you supposed to do on a cruise for 9 months?

I was stuck in my house for half a day moderately eating hurricane snacks and i feel lazy and fat already. 9 months on a cruise ship? Only if they paid me.

I’d prefer nine months on board a warship with a job to do than suffering around a bunch of slap dicks and their women causing drama that you literally cannot escape from. Port calls, yes please, but that sounds like sheer and utter boredom.

Have you ever been on a warship? Royal Caribbean for me, thanks.

My aunt and her husband do that stuff, around the world cruises for months at a time. I'd go insane.

9 minutes aboard would be Hell for me

9 months aboard would be like having a son who wanted to be an Aggie

I surely thought this thread was from a guy with a pregnant wife.

I wouldn't want to be on a cruise ship for that long either.

We are long-time cruise people. It’s our favorite vacation. But I don’t think I’d survive 9 months on a ship.

My mom did a 28 day cruise. She said after about a week or so...it sucked. Was ready to get home

I’d try it, but I’d need crossword puzzles and lots of reading material.

nine-month Ultimate World Cruise

Imagine going on a cruise like this and the SHTF either with another pandemic or nuclear war or other catastrophic world history changing event and you are in the middle of the ocean on opposite side of the planet unaffected by world events.

The world that you knew is now gone.

Sounds like an interesting plot for a movie or mini series.
