That's about the expectation for a typical appliance.

Dishwashers are scams. You got a dog? You already spend good money on dog food for your pup.

Time to save some serious dough and let that dog eat plate scraps.

unfortunately, every appliance I own is a Samsung. Fridge is less than 2 years old and ice maker constantly freezes up.

I thought this was going to be about how it finally gave up the sock you've been missing for 8 years

Do you have a wife?

Kidding. If you want something that makes very little noise and then beeps after a while, get a GE. If you want something that actually cleans dishes, get something else.

Don't spend a ton on the next one. It will be a piece of shite too, and in the scrapyard within a few years.

A pair of socks will outlast most modern appliances. That is pathetic but true.

I wish someone would start an appliance company called "Good shite." Our products are not fancy or cheap. They are basic workhorses that are built to last and have replacement parts in stock.

(I know: Speed Queen. But that's only washers and dryers.)

We just bought a Bosch about a year ago. Cleans better that any we've ever had.

But, it doesn't dry as well as i'd like.

You are lucky it didn't just overheat and explode. Samsung appliances (washers) and some electronics have been known to do that.

Bosch is the best.

What do you mean went out? I don’t know anything about them but half the time these appliances break it’s a $100 part or less.
