My grandmother has a Frigidaire dishwasher that was installed when the house was built. In 1971. Still operating. Thing is a tank.
I have a Kenmore push button one...very basic. Like the ones in apartments from the 90s. It was installed in my house in 1997. Never had a problem with it.
Long story short, quit buying the ones with computerized displays. Get the most basic shite you can find.
One more, my fridge does not have a water/ice dispenser. Had a repair guy tell me to avoid those at all costs. Bought it in 2010. Nary a problem.
