I feel like “No duh” evolved to “No doy” (rhymes with toy) after a few years.
A lot of advertising influenced sayings like “Where’s the beef?” Was cha-ching (probably more Louisiana/Saints based) late 80’s or early 90’s?

Anything from Cheech and Chong, what’s up man.

I still say some.. Like bad... as in good.. "damn that thing is bad!".
Is calling people cat an 80s thing. I feel like it is and I will say, without thinking "look at that cat!" referring to someone.
What about jivin? I don't say it, but it seems like I remember my brother saying "man he jivin!"

Words like nerd, dork, geek, spazz, lame, awesome (especially “totally awesome”) really came into their current meanings in the 80’s.

I think the OP got the spelling wrong. I think he meant Bu-Fu.
It means gay. Short for Butt frick.
It was in the song "Valley Girl"

My favorite superlative was “…like a Big Dog!
Another favorite was “frickin’ A!”

Cha-ching was national. It was the catch phrase by then unknown actor Seth Green in the Rally's commercials.
The Saints co-opted it. "Cha-Ching Cha-Champs". I was a Monday night game with the Raiders and they brought Seth Green out at half time. The place went nuts.

I don't. But the world was a much bigger place back then. I spent much of the 80's between Las Vegas, Pineville, and Memphis.
It was like I had to know 3 different languages.

Bush.
Beaver.
Muff.
As in 80’s girls were referenced by their hair.

You can’t use the word bodacious without the word ta-tas afterward
You also cannot use "hella" with it.
That stupid made up word didn't exist back then.

It bothers me so much that we were born in the same year and live in the same small town and Idk who you are.

Harold Ramis gave us a couple that lasted a while. At the end of Stripes, he says he and Sean Young are "going to go have some really serious sex." After a while, people used "really serious" as a modifier for anything.
In Ghostbusters, he had Venkman say "this chick is toast" before frying her with the proton packs. After that, every time someone was going to destroy or kick the arse of something, it was "toast."
Also, right about 1984-ish was when young boys stopped calling each other "man" and started calling each other "dude."
