gaziantep is a big city

if really that big than aleppo probably felt some as well

earthquakes seem to hit the region so maybe they are prepared? idk. but an earthquake of that intensity being so close to a city the size of gaziantep is not a good thing

never heard of Kahramanmaras but that also seems to have a million people living there

jesus. over 3 million people right around a 7.8 earthquake is really bad

I spent 32 days between Adana and where the epicenter shows, ehhhhhhhhh not really a desirable place. Hopefully deaths and injuries are minimal.

whats the tsunami threat for this if they are getting a 5.3 inbetween tunisia and sicily? doesnt seem like a great place to have that

I checked and did not see anything listed as of yet but language may be a barrier for me.

Yeah I think they have enough on their hands with entire hotels and apartment buildings collapsing at just after 3am

I had been in many Earthquakes of the 5 variety but wasn't scared till a 6.8. It was viscious and the building collapsed on me, thought I was a gonner. Can't imagine a 7.8.

One thing I learned though is it's the length of time they go that can make some so destructive not the size.
