OT's thoughts on this being the new 15 seconds.
also, he is no HB or devin white level tiger alum.

It's so stupid to me when people complain about cops asking for ID. Due to my work, I've been approached by cops multiple times in my life when I'm out doing something or another with some equipment in public. I just give them my ID, they go to their car and write down my info, and then usually tell me "cool, thanks, i reported it that youre out here doing whatever so no one else will bother you".
But then you get these people who are all "what do you need to see my ID for !?!?!? im not doing anything wrong!?!? you dont need to see my ID!!! i have a right to be here!!! youre profiling me!!!"

I'm a 34 yr old white guy and last Thursday when I walked into La' Auberge in baton rouge I was asked for my ID. So was I racially profiled?

I'd say 50% of the time I get singled out going into in state casinos (never had a problem in las vegas).
Only one time I got pissed off. It was at L'auberge in Baton Rouge. I had just got my license renewed, but I still had my old license (and it was about a month overdue).
I was with 5 other people. We all went in, they didn't check any of their IDs but stopped me. Dude looked at my license and told me it was overdue and he could stop me from going in. I told him that there could be a lot of people with overdue license in the casino that he didn't check.
We had some words, I told him that if I can't go in then me and the 5 people with me will have to leave, another person came check the situation and told me to go...

I guess it depends. If some random cop just comes up to me and asks for ID for zero reason, I'll probably be hesitant to give it to him/her.

ABOUT frickING TIME that pushback starts against this stupid "racist" crap. As soon as people realize that businesses (and police) are going to start calling out facts they will stop with the fake narratives. If you are legitimately discriminated against then by all means say so but this fake whining needs to stop.
