Holy frick how dumb are you? Simply responding to your post makes me a triggered Karen? Are you incapable of actually discussing things as opposed to hurling insults.

So an energy startup has an option on 1,700 acres in Ascension Parish and hopes to pump and dump the idea to some investor’s. Will engage an engineering firm to provide some “ballpark” figures with the hope the engineering firm will reap rewards in the future.

You're being downvoted for both. There is no part of Ascension Parish where this plant can be located that would put Iberville Parish to the east of it. Maybe to the north, yes, but not east.

Good lord.

Read it again, slowly, and ask yourself “what location in Ascension Parish is bordered by Iberville Parish to the east?”

Whoever wrote the article just got it wrong. It should have said bordered by Iberville Parish to the west. Yet here you are doubling down.

I'm confused. Iberville Parish is to the west of Ascension.

This is in the existing plant

There is a study around an expansion project as well for a whole new unit that was announced a while back

I would not be worried about the state fricking this up, but rather the Fed partnering with NGOs and liberal judges to delay the project (using faux science based arguments to legally challenge valid permits) to the point they can't construct and meet contract obligations and it all goes away
