Why are men on the hook for financial care post-divorce (alimony), but women aren't on the hook to provide him sex?
Seems like only one person has to keep their end of the deal after you break up.

If a man married down, there’s a 50/50 chance he’ll stay, if a woman makes down
80-90% she’s out.

Luckily in Texas there is no alimony requirement. In some instances the spouse may be required to pay spousal support depending on the circumstances, assuming the marriage lasted at least 10 years. I was married 10 years and 3 months at the time of my divorce, and I agreed to pay spousal maintenance for one year. This was not required, but I decided just to get it over with. My divorce was final 65 days after the day I filed, only due to my agreeing to almost all her requests. It was worth every penny!

I worked a lot and she probably (heard whispers after she met someone. Funny part is when we all go to church for Easter her uncle the preacher calls her out.
My family hated her and her family loves me. As her brother says (she’s with a guy now) she screwed up.

Why would you beat Ms Cyborg? Her bj skills are mid and her turkey sandwich skills could use some improvement. No reason to beat her though. Scolding and cooking lessons? yes. Beating? No

I believe a lot of this has to do with birth control. Women medically alter their entire hormonal and mental profile from the time they are like 13. Then they get married and for the first time get off of it and realize “holy shite I have entirely different preferences than I thought I did”.
Hormonal BC is a cancer to our society.

75-80% of all divorces are initiated by women.

Lowest divorce rate among couples are gay men.
Gay men have HUGE rates of open marriages (chatGPT says 40%). They haven't grown out of their impulsivity, they simply agree to sleep with other people from the get go.
Have you never known any gay men?

this is the truth. my wife's mom had a stroke from BC and once we started trying for kids my wife got off of it for that but also because of what happened to her mom. this was almost 10 years ago and i feel like we are just coming out on the other side of that. shite is straight poison

Lot's of great women out there.
Not in this country. A 25 year old male who is engaged to your average American girl can rest easy knowing his partner can't cook, expects him to contribute at least 75% to household expenses and 50% to household chores, all while she has a body count approaching 20 at a minimum. And even if he's the perfect husband, she'll be rewarded if she leaves him 10 years down the road because "she wasn't seen" or "needed to find herself".

I can’t imagine why based on all the women hate on here. Most single parents are women. Most child support deadbeats are guys. Water is wet.

What’s women hating about my OP?
Also, 70% of incarcerated people in the United States come from fatherless homes.
I couldn’t find specifics data on motherless homes because less than 10% of single parent households are run by men

I think the easiest way to describe the differences between men and women in relationships are that men generally seek stability and homeostasis and most women constantly seek more.
More time from the husband, more money, more kids, more physical possessions. For a lot of women it's impossible to be truly happy long term in a relationship.
The more time they spend with a man, the more they pick them apart, either out loud or to themselves. It's even worse if they have a big group of girlfriends that get together and drink and bitch about their significant others.
