That getting near the cost of a custom wrap and you should be able to get a pre-cut wrap for that using either 3M or A-D.

A dealer ceramic coating is the lowest quality ceramic. It's a complete scam

I had someone quote me close to that price for my 38 ft boat. I passed as I thought the price was too high but for a car that’s absurd.

Is that the $18 wash?

I usually go the $12-14 route and skip the ceramic material. Jump on I-20, drive West to Grambling, turn around, and drive East to the Farmerville/Hwy33 exit and head back West. By the time I get to the Cooktown Rd/Tech exit, the car is dry. Once a year I spray it with a Turtle Wax product that's spray and wipe wax. When I was young and dumb, I washed them all by hand and used the all elbow grease Mr. Miyagi method.

That $7K dealer job is $1500 at any reputable shop and will last longer and protect better.

Also ceramic coating and paint correction is absolutely worth it on any new car. Every time it rains it's like getting a free wash.

the only things to do at a dealership are buy a vehicle and warranty repairs, nothing else

There was also $895 for "NC prep and recon" and $695 "safety and security"

I assume the $695 charge was for a body guard for my safety and security while on the South Shore.

But seriously...$8,600 tacked on in fees

You serious Clark?

Does that include a full paint correction too? Had no idea that was the going rate. I am old, slow, and meticulous and I could do a car per day, even correcting bad paint. Materials cost, even for the premium stuff, is probably less than $50. I'm in the wrong line of work.....

Two coats of Turtle Wax Seal and shine work the same way and it's $15 at Walmart.

The shite lasts forever if applied correctly.
