Nah I just look at the majority and treat them accordingly. There are good teachers, but there are way more pieces of lazy shite who would sacrifice the quality of your kid's education for a few more days off. bleedat

Wrong. Israel had many confirmed cases of students and teachers becoming infected after reopening and had to close schools again. A large South Korean study indicates children under 10 years old do not transmit very easily but those older than 10 transmit at a rate similar to adults. But scientist will tell you there is still no clear answer to how contagious kids are.

Nope.

There are zero confirmed cases of a student passing COVID to a teacher worldwide, as of about a week ago.

Nurses and doctors are probably uncomfortable as well.

So are grocery store workers. And Lowe’s workers. And on and on.

Yet those same teachers who are so goddamned "uncomfortable" being around "all those kids" have NO problem going to Walmart and Target. They also went out on a shopping spree when that stimulus money came in. They were completely fine with crowding the stores around all the essential workers.

If there was a more "essential" worker than teacher, I'd like to know what it is.

This whole ordeal with the schools should put school vouchers on the fast track. Public school teacher unions don't want to go back to school? No problem! Here's your check to send JR to the private school down the road.
