I think that's the max. They won't pay you more than you made.

even better, they're not making you search for a job either.

Dont agree with that at all. I have to keep a log of places I've applied and if I turn down a job in my wage bracket I'll have my benefits revoked. Texas has that part right

That's fine while the quarantine is in effect, but when restrictions are lifted un-employment should go back to normal.

I'm seriously considering picking me up a 10-12 hour a week part-time job when everything opens up. If there's going to be all of these open positions employers will be willing to pay for good hands. In theory, at least.

I know a few people out here through some sober living houses that I used be GM of the company that owned them. It's a shame they're are giving some of these losers that much money. A few of them are making more money now than they were when they were actually working.

I think there should have been some kind of slotting or something. Paying a dishwasher $3000+ a month to sit on his arse all day and play video games when he usually only makes about $2000 is ridiculous and a waste of money.

I know it wasn't the fault of any workers, but the amount of money being wasted is ridiculous.

They’ve already started paying regular unemployment. We’ve gotten it for 2 weeks. The $600 is federal/extra starts according to JBE Monday.
