They issued a warrant for her arrest. She will turn herself in Monday am. Felony cruelty to a juvenile.
The story as reported by Nakamoto is factually inaccurate. The child was not forced to clean up feces. She was instructed to put her dirty pull-up (which she should not have been wearing in the first place) in a zip lock bag. She responded by smearing feces(formed stool, not diarrhea) on the walls. The child has documented issues.
The situation was handled by the book policy wise.
Hopefully DA will decline charges. If not she will be exonerated in court. Of course, she will accumulate lots of legal expenses. She’s getting railroaded.
this all could have been avoided if the school board leadership would have stood up against this nonsense in the first place. Now a great lady’s life has been turned upside down.
Also, ZSD will take a hit because they are going to lose other good teachers over this because of what they allowed to happen to the assistant principle.
This story is about to blow up.

I’m editing the post with more info. I’ll leave my initial post up.
The child asked the substitute teacher to go to the bathroom. She was allowed with no delay. She shite her pants (again, stool not diarrhea) before she could get her pullup(which she should not have been wearing) down. She was sent to the office, per policy. There is a specific restroom in the office for this purpose. The nurse was present. She was told to go to the restroom, clean herself up, and change herself, per policy.
When she came out of the restroom, she had smeared feces over the walls, toilet and sink.
The assistant principle reprimanded this behavior. She then instructed her and assisted her to clean up her mess.
The assistant principle met with admin that same day. She was admonished for her reaction, and that was the end of it.
This all happened more than a month before the story dropped from Nakatrash.
At that time, the school board should have responded that they were aware of the incident, and it had been handled. Instead, the hung her out to dry.

I actually worry this will be the watershed moment that turns the system in a wrong direction. The superintendent did nothing to get in front of this and help and now he’s left one of his administrators out to dry.

It’s all bullshite from a problem family who has no sense of responsibility

I mean is it really an “accident” if she asked to go and the teacher told her no? The principal should’ve made the teacher clean it up as punishment.

Great job reading the headline. The girl had been to the restroom many times prior, the SUBSTITUTE teacher sent he to the office per policy. This is where the accident happened.

Now policy will be, if your child has an accident, they sit in their shite until the parent arrives. So, great job sue happy losers. As always, you make things worse.

The district is still one of the best in the state. That’s not really saying much in La. However, it’s been slipping over the last few years.
This incident will certainly not help retain or recruit top talent.
But hey, we won state in boys and girls bball.

Yeah you right.....Lets stop the lesson with 23 other children in the room, and call the students parents. Makes sense to me.

Parents of children like this are some of the biggest bullies around. They use their children to intimidate, harass, and abuse normal students and administration. Continuing to try and mainstream them only means that 20+ other students don't get the education they deserve.

And, the social media reporter in the OP needs to correct his story or be permanently banned.

Can’t say this enough.

That parent will be a thorn in whatever school district’s side for at least another 12 years.

With those types of parents their kids never do anything wrong and they are always the best at whatever they try to do so there’s obviously something wrong with the teacher/coach if something doesn’t go their way. Admin then caves which only emboldens them.

How dense does a teacher have to be to not be able to tell a 6yo is having issues?

You can tell pretty quick if that age range is lying or is telling the truth.

The OP’s posted story is not accurate. Read Chip’s above you.

Once again glad my kids are in private school. There are some children and parents that try and push their weight around, but there aren't any parents that aren't trying to do the best things for their kids. A solid 80+% are high character people with quality kids.

I’ve read that only 1 in 4 kids in public school are potty trained by 4 years old. Maybe this is a case of lazy parents not potty training their kids.
