I was in Nashville attending a conference. 1500 people there and a few hundred got Covid. Returned to Baton Rouge. Sent everyone in the office home (began WFH). Kept the warehouse open with one person for shipping and receiving. Still have 6 out of 8 people working from home.

It was a damn strong virus...

Not me. I feel like I used a healthy dose of common sense and risk management for me. On March 14 I got on a plane to travel around SE Asia.

Yes, a deadly “mystery virus” suddenly popped up 9 months before the presidential election when one of the most hated people in the world, who they spent 3 years and multiple hoaxes trying to force out of office, was seeking re-election. Then, literally everything they were sky screaming about on TV ad nauseam wasn’t playing out in any semblance of realty when you walked outside. “Uncertain times” in your mind perhaps. Some of us knew what was going on from the start.

So you believe a world wide pandemic that killed millions of people was created to oust trump from office?

Wow.

On one hand it sucked because you had to mask everywhere and restaurants were closed for a while.

On the other hand having a 9 month vacation was pretty fricking awesome.

You were somewhat close.

Does the common cold kill over a million Americans? I get the pleasure of getting to say “I told you so” (I’m getting used to it with Trump’s current shite show), but let’s not pretend covid was just some seasonal flu. A lot of American families were impacted. It’s incredibly sad and pretty inhumane of you to minimize the deaths of millions around the globe.

How many people died of COVID alone

I see the resident leftists are trying to simultaneously downplay what happened while also shifting blame.

In my 50+ years it was the stupidest time to be alive and if I live another 50 it probably will remain so. I hope.

the move was made to open restaurants and allow people to take off their masks to eat. that was a reasonable decision to make.

You have a major case of Stockholm Syndrome. The MSM has abused the ever loving frick out of you for your entire life, and you love them more than ever. You will believe literally anything they tell you to and march to their orders obediently.

Let me ask you a question and be completely honest; If they told you to report on your neighbors who weren't complying w/ mask mandates in 2020-2021, you would have done exactly that, right?

That’s basically what it was to anyone who was even remotely healthy. A bunch of obese people dying doesn’t really make your point that much better. There will be another ‘pandemic’ and it’s going to kill the obese just like Covid did. These people are unhealthy and if you took all their many prescriptions away they would be dead anyway.

I think the lockdowns started after St Patricks Day.

Colleges continued for a bit until spring break. Then told not to return after break.

The death counter that was ticking away on cnn like the national debt clock

With no figures or names to back it up

Straight up fear porn made up . To scare people .

- I will still never forgive anyone that fall of 2020 when they almost canceled college football but made it super reduced capacity

You can’t have it both ways. Protestors for BLM/george Floyd standing arm in arm for entire city blocks can’t be safe yet people cheering at a game outside be a threat to public safety

Just another piece of the puzzle that made no sense at all.

My wife and I were in Ft. Worth visiting my daughter and her husband.

We got there on March 13th. They took us out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Southlake. 1 hour wait for a table, so we stood in the bar area and had a couple of beers. We were belly to belly and butt to butt with total strangers for an hour. Nothing came of it.

Drove home to OKC on Sunday. Stopped at a place in Norman for a late lunch. We sat at the bar. I asked the bartender how busy it was the night before, and he said, "like a Thursday".

Absolutely, not anymore absurd, that its origin was from an Asian wet market because some nasty arse China men were eating infected bats and not the gigantic immunology lab located down the fricking street.

You know the immunology lab that just happened to be doing gain of function research on fricking coronavirus’s.

Then you have functional retards like

quote:

Creampiebeeeeer

that 5 years after the fact, still believe it was a novel virus as opposed to the mountain of evidence that it was a genetically engineered virus. Once again, completely discount the fact that one of the world’s largest immunology labs just happens to exist in the place of origin.

I know a guy in Oklahoma that has a lake house. His family went there for the duration. He says it was like spring break lasted for 6 months. No one at the lake took it seriously. They boated and fished every day, and partied every night.
